Interviews - Script

Thanks for agreeing to participate in this interview. This interview is part of a UX academic course and is being conducted for learning purposes only. You will not be compensated for your participation in this study. The study will be audio-recorded and we will take a photo of you to use in our class report. You are free to skip any questions you do not want to answer and you can end the interview at any point. Are you ok with us conducting the interview, please say “yes” or “no”.

• Would you share with me your background in education and work?
• Have you done volunteering before? Can you describe your first experience of volunteering?
• Can you describe how volunteering has ties into your personality?
• How does volunteering affect family responsibilities, social events, and school responsibilities?
• How have your preferences changed from first volunteering to your most recent volunteering experience?

• Where would you expect to find information about a civic hack night on social media?
