I believe the difference between "good" design and "great" design is in the details: research, insights, & honesty.

My Design Journey

I have worked in several design industries and on a diverse range of products (graphic design/ads, packaging graphics, retail displays, consumer products, digital UX).

I'm committed to hard work and doing what is needed to get any job done. At one point, I was working 5 different jobs over the summer to help save money for school (stage manager, retail, food service, and customer service).

Origins (1993 - 2006)

(Image of Alltech, Inc. Nutrigenomics Lab in Nicholasville, KY   I did the majority of drawings for the interior, including laboratory cabinetry.)

1993 - 2002   I began learning to draw & mechanical drawing in 8th grade. From there I became highly proficient in mechanical and architectural drawing through high school. In college I mastered AutoCAD and Inventor.

2002 - 2006  I worked as a CAD instructor (and some table drafting) for Spencerian College and later Lexington Community College  (Now a part of the Bluegrass Technical College System) .

2004 - 2006   I was the CAD specialist for Alltech, Inc. , a global biotech company. I was responsible for all CAD projects company-wide including mechanical, architectural, civil, process, electrical, and "as-built" drawings.

Dr. Morgan Wickline Getchell | June 17th, 2020) as part of the Beer & UX ( Neuron UX ) MeetUp group along with attending a number of their events.
